DAY 1.

Good Morning Everyone,

Let us start the day with the Lord's Prayer-
PRAYER -TIME
Now sit in a comfortable position and practice mindful breathing.

1st Period -ENGLISH- LANGUAGE
L.O-State what each Punctuation mark stands for.
 Boys we have already learnt in class 2 that every sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop.You also know that questions start with a capital letter and end with a Question mark-(?)
We  also  practised the use of comma-(,) to separate more than two nouns ,ideas or adjectives.
So full stop .Question mark? and comma, are  the most commonly used PUNCTUATION MARKS
.
CW---Write down the following  in your English language notebooks-
Put today's date in the left hand corner and Heading-                                                          PUNCTUATION-MARKS                                       
1.A sentence always starts with a capital letter.
2.A sentence always ends with a full stop.         
eg-My parents love me a lot.
3.A question always starts with a capital letter 
and it ends with a question mark-?
eg-Where do you live ?    
4.If a sentence has 2 or more similar words,we 
separate them by putting commas-,
eg-John, Danish, Hamza and Ajay are friends.

2nd Period-READING
L.O-Read on your own with understanding.

3rd Period-MATHS
L.O.-Recognise odd and even numbers .
Students,last year we learnt to spot odd and even numbers in 3 digit numbers                                .
This year we will try to locate them in the 4 digit numbers.You only have to focus on the ones place even now. So open your Maths CW notebook and note down this work
.
 Write the date  and Heading :ODD and EVEN Numbers 
                                
All numbers which have 1,3,5,7,9 in their ones place are called ODD numbers eg
13,  345,  467,  679. 
All numbers that have 2,4,6,8,0,in the ones place are called EVEN numbers   eg
24,  568,  684,   450 
Same way in 4 digit numbers also we need to only look at the ones place to decide 
whether it is odd or even 
e g -2345  is an ODD number
and 7460 is an EVEN number. 
Now state O for ODD and E for EVEN numbers
a) 3456_____

b) 1847_____

c) 6942_____

d) 2745_____

6th Period-CHILD PROTECTION
L.O.-Practice respecting other peoples private space and your own too.
Students ,you do not like if someone pokes you or pushes you or sometimes even sits too closely with you. It is a feeling shared by almost all of us .So practice the Golden Rule-  Do for others as you want them to do for you.  You will notice the more respectful  you are towards others they will also  be towards you.Watch this video to understand better.
