 1st Period :MATHS 

L.O-Compare numbers with 4 digits 

 Students now that you can read  and arrange 4 digit numbers lets see which is bigger ,and which is smaller?

First of all look carefully at the the thousands place -eg 4,678 and 7,654 .In these two numbers 4 in the thousands place is smaller than 7 in the next number,so 

4672< 7654

or 4678 is less than 7654.

If the thousands digit is same ,look at the hundreds and compare the two

so 3789 >3428 

or 3789 is greater than 3428 as 7 >4 in the hundreds place .

If thousands and hundreds place is same then look at the tens place

If tens place is also same then look at the ones place 

2345  >2341 as 5 >1 in in the ones place.
Now open your Season's Reader to page 86 and do Q2 andQ3  without using any symbol.

Please do 3b and 3c also on page87.

Ans2  .A  baby deer (fawn) has to stand up and run within minutes of being born as it might be eaten up by lions or tigers.A human baby is the most helpless baby so humans have the longest childhood. They have to be taken care of  for a very long time.

Students you all know that a sentence starts with a Capital letter and ends with a full stop.

However ,if there are more than two nouns or ideas then we put a COMMA , 

after those words eg John,Sonam ,Ajay , Aslam are taking part in a race.

Open page 7 of the Sultan Chand Grammar book ,read  and complete the exercise B given.
