1st period-ENGLISH
L.O.-Identify the subject and predicate in sentences
A subject and a Predicate together form a complete sentence.
A subject is what the sentence is about .It can be a person ,place animal or thing.
The Predicate is what the subject is doing in the sentence .It begins with a verb.
Both subject and predicate are needed for a complete sentence.
Example-My family went to the park.
Here My Family--is the subject and
went to the park is the predicate .

In your English Language notebook write the following-
Subject and Predicate
A subject and a Predicate together form a complete sentence.
A subject states who or what is doing the action.
A predicate states what the subject is or does.

Open your English literature notebook from the back and on the 5th last page write these words 2 times each-
