2.Omission of one or more letters

I'm--I am

Q4d)What are the two different types of Roots?

Ans-Roots are of two types                                -

                                1.Tap root -It has a long main root at the end of the stem  

                                   and many small side roots growing from this main root.

                 2.Fibrous root-When a number of roots grow     

                       from the end of the stem ,they are called fibrous.

Q4e)Name any 2 functions of  roots.             

Ans-1.They hold the plant firmly to the ground. 

                             2.They take in water and mineral salts from the ground 
Draw a picture of a tap root and  fibrous root on the blank page.
